Practice areas and client work
Ananjan's practice is a combination of contentious and non-contentious work particularly in the insurance, energy, media, maritime and aviation sectors. Ananjan's extensive litigation and arbitration experience includes a broad range of international business related disputes including political risk insurance, charter party rights, commercial contracts and insurance, airline liability, aircraft finance and aviation infrastructure. He has represented clients in negotiating joint ventures and other specialised commercial deals. His practice is currently limited to Indian law exclusively.

Previous work
Ananjan began his legal career in 1993, as a counsel at the Calcutta Bar. He has appeared and argued cases before the High Court, Company Law Board and other dispute resolution forums. He has reported judgments to his name. Ananjan also worked in London at a city circle firm before co-founding ALMT Legal.

Publications, Presentations, Recognitions
Ananjan's articles have been published in the Financial World, (Publication of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London), PLC Law and the Calcutta Law Times. Ananjan has presented papers at the annual conferences of the International Bar Association at Amsterdam, the Inter Pacific Bar Association at Hong Kong and IATA's Legal Symposium in Istanbul. Ananjan is keenly involved in India's developing aviation law and works closely with industry, government and University law students and faculty towards this end.
