Sameer started his career in litigation in 1992, with a renowned Mumbai based law firm. He relocated to the UK in 1997, returning in 2004 to the Mumbai office of ALMT Legal as a co-founder of the firm.

Sameer has contributed to various publications including the Asia Pacific Forum Newsletter and the International Bar Association Newsletter. He has been interviewed by the Eastern Eye, Paisa magazine, the Hammersmith and Fulham Chamber of Commerce, The Lawyer, a leading legal newspaper in London and The Economic Times, Mumbai. Sameer is a member of several associations including the EU Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Indian Law Firms, the Indus Entrepreneurs, the Inter Pacific Bar Association, the British Business Group and LEADR (an association of dispute resolvers in Australia). He also lectures at the prestigious Government Law College, in Mumbai.

Beyond the law
Sameer is married to Arwa and enjoys spending time with his two energetic sons Zahir and Daniel; the fact that he manages to go horse racing, swimming, attend the Rotary Club of Bombay and travel is a testament to his energy and time management skills.
