Previous work
Shalini worked as a legal assistant in England with a top provincial Cambridge based firm, for a period of 2 years, followed by a stint at a top London city law firm. Thereafter, she joined a leading Delhi based law firm, practising transactional law, before co-founding ALMT Legal.

Shalini is a guest lecturer at the Leeds Business School and consultant to the Centre for International Briefing and IOR, where she is a frequent speaker at briefing sessions on doing business in India. As a member of the IBA and the UIA, she also attends and speaks at various international conferences and contributes regularly to various international legal publications. Shalini is also the editor of the in house quarterly India Brief.

Beyond the law
Shalini retains an avid interest in travelling, having travelled the world at a young age as the daughter of an Indian diplomat. A peoples' person, she enjoys combining business travel with the opportunity of experiencing varied cultures and meeting people. A German and French speaker, Shalini enjoys honing her lingual skills as and when the opportunity arises. Shalini is married to Heimold and has two sons, Andre and Michel.
